This is great information to get out there to get all designers and print manufacturers to be aware of the impact they are having on the environment, and the difference they CAN make.
As a graphic designer I have been frustrated at printing firms I have worked at in the past, as not only do they always offer clients the non-recycled stocks because they are cheaper, but they fail to even recycle their own paper wastes properly which are absolutely enormous in quantity.
I have been heartened to see more environmentally friendly printing practices emerging in recent times, such as Greenprint in Australia. Now working with my own design company, I can recommend better printing practices for my clients and serve their needs as well as the environment.
